Paint Chip Mosaic

After struggling with what to hang on this wall – and I do mean struggling – I decided I had to have some sort of color during the lengthy process of trying to find the right water picture or the right skeletons picture or the right skeletons at the water picture. So I made this paint chip mosaic. All of the colors are used elsewhere in the room and this is one of the first things I see when I walk in. It makes me smile!

Wow, this is so graphic I love it. I did something similar but I just used various pictures of textures from a stock photography site online. Printed them out on glossy card stock, cut to fit as a collage and hung in the dining room. If I think of it I will take a picture. I didn’t adhere them down properly and my center photo has tilted slightly so it will need to be redone soon.
