Glass and Tile Sun

This is a combination of fused glass and vitreous glass tile. The facial features were done with frit and tack fused. The base is MDF. Adhesive used was Weldbond.

It’s amazing to me how different the glass colors look in different light.

I still need to paint the sides of the base (yellow) and it will be ready to hang.
